Gyankunj 3.0 Course On Diksha: In today's classroom there is a growing need to connect the future of India with modern technologies. The main objective of the Gyankunj project is to achieve enhanced changes in the learning teaching process of the classroom by transforming the concept of Computer Aided Learning (CAL) in Gujarat into the Gyankunj Classroom Interactivity concept. The Gyankunj project was implemented to strengthen teaching, learning and assessment through digitization. Its specific objectives include enhancing classroom interactivity in the teacher-student learning process. Streamlining the learning, teaching and assessment process through technology, easy explanation of each unit of each subject of the curriculum in the classroom itself through technology.

"Gyankunj" project was launched on 5th September, 2017 - Teacher's Day by Hon'ble Chief Minister as a new initiative of Gujarat Government in the field of digital education inspired by the visionary of Digital India. In 3173 classrooms of classes 7 and 8 in 1609 government primary schools in the state has been established.

Gyankunj 3.0 Diksha Course: 

"Gyankunj" project was launched on 5th September, 2017 - Teacher's Day by Hon'ble Chief Minister as a new initiative of Gujarat Government in the field of digital education inspired by the visionary of Digital India. In 3173 classrooms of classes 7 and 8 in 1609 government primary schools in the state

Interactive e-Class developed with smart board with the help of technology. Gradually other schools were added.

A school digitalization program to enhance learning-learning process and classroom interactivity with the help of various technology tools like projectors, infrared cameras, laptops, speakers, smart boards, Wi-Fi routers. Under which the board is converted into an interactive smart board with the help of an infrared camera and the teaching-learning process and evaluation is strengthened.

Under which, at that time Interactive learning with smart boards with the help of technology at school level.

Facilities of projector, infrared camera, laptop, speaker, smart board, Wi-Fi router in 3173 classrooms of class 7 and 8 in government primary schools of the state. 

Gyankunj 3.0 Diksha Course:

Education in all subjects of class 5 to 8 with the help of e-content and content available through the Internet. In Gyankunj classrooms, various technology tools and classroom work using e-content, assessment of children and using open source resources - free content from the Internet were being taught on global models of education is being added. 

This e-content includes everything from images, videos, animations, virtual labs, demonstrations, activities and self-study, assessments and reference literature. Moreover, traditional education system has laid much emphasis on reading, writing and comprehension knowledge. Under which more than 450 lessons from 52 textbooks, more than 3,000 animated videos, more than 3,000 interactive animations, more than 1,000 games on various topics, virtual labs for science subjects and a question bank with more than 50,000 questions were included at the very beginning of the Gyankunj project. . It has been updated from time to time. 

Under the "Gyankunj" project, a total of 10,000 tablets have been provided to the students of class 7 and 8 in 100 schools, 100 per school. Each tablet has a textbook in PDF format and apps like National digital library, English grammar, Hello English, English Gujarati Dictionary, Type it, ByJUS (English Version), Khan Academy (English Version) and QR Code Reader installed. which provides self-learning opportunities for children to master content in an interactive classroom. With the help of tablets with the innovative approach of stress-free learning, children are studying in an interesting way using textbooks in PDF format as well as various educational apps.  

Gyankunj 3.0 Diksha Course:

A web based application (www.gyankunj.org) and a mobile app have been prepared for the successful implementation of the entire project. Which can be installed from Google Play Store. In which the head teacher/nodal teacher of the class from the school level complains online for problems related to hardware/software. Under which the real-time progress of the Gyankunj project can be known at all levels based on the updated details related to the project from the school level.

To know the effectiveness of the project, a survey has been conducted by the Statistical Bureau during February 06-07, 2018 as directed by the General Administration Department (Planning). This third party evaluation study is based on responses to a questionnaire (survey form) specially designed for school visits and evaluation studies. According to the results of the survey, the underprivileged children are keen to study with the help of Gyankunj Project if Gyankunj Project is allocated in their classroom. The findings of the study show that 100% children can understand every unit taught in Gyankunj facility and they like learning through audio-visual medium. Additionally, 100% of the parents of the children in the study agreed that their child was excited to go to school and that their child benefited from this method.
