A scheme called National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) for students studying in Std. 8 from MHRD, NEW DILHI for the purpose of reducing the drop out rate in secondary and higher secondary schools.  Has been implemented.  State Examination Board, Gandhinagar will conduct an examination on Sunday, 28/02/2021 to select the beneficiary students for this scholarship.  Applications for this examination should be filled online on the website www.sebexam.org from 19/11/2020 to 19/12/2020.


Scholarship amount and rules payment: After the examination, the students who come in merit in the district-wise quota will be given a monthly stipend of Rs.  1000 / - per annum Rs.  12ooo / - Scholarships eligible for scholarships to students with fixed eligibility for four years will be paid to eligible students as per MHIRD guidelines by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India (MHRD), New Delhi.  Scholarships will be disbursed directly by VIRD to the bank accounts of the beneficiary students through the National Scholarship Portal.  


Eligibility of students: Students who are studying in Government Primary Schools, Local Body Schools, District Panchayatman Nagarpalika / Nagarpalika Schools) and Granted Primary Schools in Std. 8 in the current academic year will be able to appear for N.C..s examination.  General Category and OBC  The student of the category should have obtained at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in Std-7.  Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students should have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in Std-7.  The annual income of parents of all categories of students is Rs. 1,50,000/- Students from private schools/Self Finance School), Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and residential schools run by state government institutions that provide accommodation, meals, and study facilities will not be able to fill up the application form in this examination.  


Income limit: As decided for NMMS examination, the annual income of the guardian of the candidate should not be more than Rs.1,50,000 / -.  A certified copy of the guardian's annual income sample must be attached to the student's application form.  The specimen of the officer authorized by the government should be attached) only examination fee: general category and OBC.  The examination fee for category students will be Rs.70 / -.  Ph.D.  And S.T.  Examination fee for category students will be Rs.50 / -.  The service charge will have to be paid separately.  Fees paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.  Fee Sweeper Center: After filling the application form in the computerized post offices of Gujarat as a fee acceptance center, the fee can be printed and the fee can be paid.  Two of the three parts of printed currency will be returned by the post office.  The post office will have to check whether the fee has been paid from the confirmation number along with the receipt given by the post office to the payer.  


One can also pay the examination fee through ATM CARD / NET BANKING through online payment gateway.  To deposit the fee online, click on "IPrint Application / Challan" and fill in the details.  Then in the given options select the appropriate option from the options of "Net Banking of fee" or Other ravishment Mode "and fill in the next details.  After depositing the fee, you will be written on the screen that your fee has been credited and you will get an e-receipt to print.  If there is any defect in the process, it will be seen on the screen that your fee has not been paid.  If the e-receipt is not generated within 2 hours after deducting the fee amount from his bank account, the online fee payer will have to contact the State Examination Board immediately by e-mail.  - Question Paper Template and Marks: Type of Test Questions Marks Time (1) MAT Intellectual Aptitude Test 90 questions, 90 marks, 90 minutes. (2) SAT Educational Aptitude Test 90 questions, 90 marks, 30 minutes. 

 

Study Sequence: 90 questions of MAT Intellectual Aptitude Test will be of literal and non-verbal logical calculation.  These questions will include Analogy, Classification, Numerical Series, Pattern Perception, Hidden Figure, etc.  The 90 questions of the SAT Educational Aptitude Test will include Std-7 and Std-8 Mathematics, Science, and Social Science subjects.  STD 7 will be the syllabus of the last academic year.  The syllabus for the first semester of the current academic year will be for Std. 8.  Qualifying Marks: General and OBC  Students of the category will have to get a total of 40% marks in both the sections and SC.  And S.T.  Students of the category will have to get a total of 32% marks in both the sections.  Out of the students who get the qualifying marks, only the students who come in merit as per the quota decided by the district-category will be eligible for the scholarship.

Download NMMS Hall Tickets from the official website from 3.3.2021 3.00 pm onwards. The candidates are advised to enter their confirmation number and date of birth to download the hall ticket. The exam is going to take place on 14.3.2021 on Sunday.
